| Longfield Community Garden | Longfield Academy wants to develop a community garden on the school site. Some fruit trees were planted in spring 2020 and they have survived the summer so something has started. Also the school has been awarded a grant to develop a garden but progress on this has been delayed because of Covid. Raised beds have now been ordered and a polytunnel is planned. | Framland Churches Sustainable Energy Project | The local Deanery has received a grant from the Rural Community Energy Fund to investigate the extent to which churches can be heated in a way that reduces carbon emissions and possibly to be able to export sustainable energy if systems allow.
